X-ray examination is a quick, effective, and painless examination that helps diagnose and assess various diseases of the lungs, heart, and blood vessels, as well as the condition of bones and joints, and monitor healing processes after bone fractures or dislocations. During the examination, the body is exposed to a very low dose of ionizing radiation, but modern technology allows for maximum reduction of exposure and high-quality results.

An endoscopic examination is an internal examination of internal organs using a device designed for this purpose – an endoscope. The cost of diagnostic imaging (radiography, echoscopy, and endoscopy) in veterinary medicine depends on several key factors
Radiography, echoscopy, and endoscopy require different equipment and technologies. X-ray examinations are often cheaper due to simpler equipment and a faster process, while echoscopy (ultrasound examination) or endoscopy can be more expensive because they require more complex technology and specialised knowledge. Endoscopy, used to examine internal organs, is one of the most expensive examinations because it requires special equipment and more time for the procedure.
The latest technologies, which provide more accurate results, often increase the cost of testing. The higher the qualifications of specialists and the greater the investment in modern equipment, the higher the cost of diagnostics may be.
